Real neat game, love me some zelda esque shit. Unless I'm softlocked because of a bug, I can't find a way to upgrade my sword and get past those vines though

I am glad you are enjoying the game! The items required to upgrade your weapons are scattered across the Labyrinth, but the one who can do the upgrades for you is hidden in the depths of a forgotten city. Find your way to him and cut down those vines!!

This game's pretty cool. It's got some fun gameplay and items and the music is dope(the gun shop music sounds like surprise buttsex by scoutelite). There's a problem though where the audio cuts in and out, and the hitboxes are a little jank. Overall a decent little game

Really dope game. I like the music, and love the creativity with the weapon types. Can't figure out how to deal with those annoying-ass blue meteors tho
Edit: Best way to deal with em is to shoot with the mirror gun(the 3rd), or hover the melee weapon(the 4th one) on yourself so they die before they touch you.(btw thx for the tip HealliesGames)

This game is really cool and gets straight to the point. The gun upgrades are sick, and not to mention it feels satisfying to reload. Only slight complaint is there's no fullscreen option which makes it impossible to see everything on screen. Also, I think it'd be cool if when you shoot the angel it triggers a boss fight instead of it just shooting back, like a really difficult fight if you shot her early on, but with high reward. Overall, the game is sick, it just needs a little polish, thats all

I'd recommend you try downloading the game and giving that version a go. It has fullscreen as an option, multiple difficulties and more effects.

I might end up adding an angel fight, but I'm not gonna be working on the game for a bit. Who knows!

this is a nice little game. its got funny dialogue, interesting puzzles, and the small details like how romero got julias bday wrong really add to the tone. I wouldn't mind seeing a fully fledged game like this in the future
